The story begins long before Huron Cottage existed. For years, founder Beth Barber owned and operated White Pine & Petals, a beloved flower and gift shop known for its natural aesthetic, thoughtful curation, and heartfelt customer relationships. That experience built the foundation for everything Huron Cottage is today: a deep understanding of beauty, atmosphere, and the quiet ways a well-crafted product can transform a space.
What began as simple experiments with soap and candles evolved into a full, intentionally formulated line of botanical body care, wellness teas, aromatherapy candles, and functional herbal bath products — each one inspired by Beth’s artistic background and her deepening studies in functional nutrition and herbalism.
Every product is designed with both nature and knowledge in mind. Beth’s ongoing education in functional nutrition, integrative wellness, and herbal studies shapes the way she formulates:
- purposeful tea blends with botanical benefits,
- magnesium-infused bath rituals enhanced with botanicals,
- aromatherapy candles using essential oils and clean fragrance science,
